Steve Ranger
Although born in London I moved to the North West to go to Manchester University and have been here ever since. I have lived in Holmes Chapel for thirty years with my wife Margaret. Our two children attended Holmes Chapel Primary School and Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School and our granddaughter is now following in their footsteps.
I am currently a senior manager in the NHS, coming to the end of my working life which has spanned both the private and public sectors. I was previously Secretary and Chairman of the Holmes Chapel Rugby Club.
I am a strong believer in local democracy and as a Parish Councillor I intend to ensure that the voices of local people are heard and that the village continues to be one of the best places for people of all ages to live.
