Twin Town
Holmes Chapel & District Twinning Association was formed in 1979 and in 1980 entered a formal twinning arrangement with Bessancourt which is approximately 20 miles North of Paris. Since then, there have been regular visits by groups from both sides of the channel.
A party of Bessancourt families is expected to visit Holmes Chapel in late October/early November 2008.
