Parish Council Meetings
Agendas and Minutes of Past Meetings
Meeting Agendas for each meeting are issued a minimum of three clear working days before the meeting is due to take place. Unless noted otherwise in the agenda, all Council meetings and all Committee meetings will be held at The Academy Suite, Holmes Chapel Community Centre, commencing at 7.00pm.
Minutes are posted on the web site as soon as possible after each meeting. All minutes are issued initially as a draft until approved at the next Council meeting. Copies of all relevant documents can be downloaded in PDF format from the list below.
Holmes Chapel Annual Parish Meetings
The Annual Parish meeting provides opportunity for residents to be updated on current issues in Holmes Chapel, hear a summary of Parish Council activities over the past year and also ask questions of councillors in the Q&A session in the latter part of the meeting. It is widely advertised throughout the village and all residents are welcome to attend.
2025 Annual Parish Meeting
The Annual Parish Meeting was held on Thursday 20th March 2025 at 7pm at Holmes Chapel Community Centre. There were presentations from the charity Everybody Health & Leisure and an update from our Chair Cllr Chris Jackson, along with the opportunity to ask questions.
2024 Annual Parish Meeting
The Annual Parish Meeting was held on Tuesday 19th March 2024 at 7pm at Holmes Chapel Community Centre. There were presentations from our Youth Council, Reclaim the Pavements Task Group, Connected Communities and an update from our Chair, Cllr Chris Jackson.
2023 Annual Parish Meeting
The Annual meeting was held on Tuesday 14 March 2023 at 7pm. There was an update from the Chair, Cllr Chris Jackson, which was followed by a presentation by the Police on Scam Awareness - keeping us safer online, which was very useful and insightful.
2022 Annual Parish Meeting
The Annual Parish meeting was held on Tuesday 22nd March at 7pm. Talks covered the work of the Parish Council during the Pandemic, the Strategic Planning Task Group and the results of a survey carried out with residents living on the new estates.
2021 Annual Parish Meeting
Holmes Chapel held the Annual Parish Meeting at 6pm on Thursday 6th May 2021, via Zoom.

2020 Annual Parish Meeting
The Annual Parish meeting for 2020 was due to be held on Tuesday 17th March 2020. Unfortunately, this was cancelled as a result of the Covid-19 crisis.
