Holmes Chapel is a village of some 3000 residences covering an area of approximately 1 square mile in the heart of Cheshire.
Records of the village exist from as far back as the 14th century and a Parish Council has been in place for over 100 years, with the first council meeting taking place in 1894.
Today the village is represented by 12 councillors, each elected to serve for a period of 4 years by the people of the village.
