For a while now, residents have been asking for a bus stop on Chester Road, opposite the existing bus stop close to Brookfield Drive. Whilst our local authority has no funding available for a new bus stop, we have instead provided a new bench, with paving to allow easy access on and off of the bus.
We are sorry that at present, the bench cannot really be used, but hope it will be a nice place to wait for the bus in coming months, or another spot to watch the world go by.
We have chosen a low maintenance recycled plastic bench which will look good for many years to come.
