Holmes Chapel basked in sunshine and community spirit over the weekend as the annual Summer Celebration returned with three days of music, family activities and community spirit.

Friday Night Party

The weekend kicked off in style with the celebration in the Village Centre organised by the Parish Council! We were delighted to welcome back saxophonist Mike Irving who started the night off in style helping to create a relaxed and chilled atmosphere at the top end of the village. As always Dane Sound had us all dancing in the street with their fantastic playlist and dance moves! Darren Elliston was new to us this year, but he certainly did not disappoint. With fantastic vocals and guitar we danced and sang the night away.

Our local businesses pulled out all the stops with delicious food and drink on offer.

It was a brilliant night with a friendly, fun and relaxed atmosphere.

A huge thank you to all who took part and worked so hard to make this event such a great Friday night!

Saturday Family Fun Day
Everybody Health & Leisure kept the momentum going at the Community Centre with a free Family Fun Day. Families enjoyed inflatables, games, tasty treats, ducklings, alpacas and Shetland ponies, along with face painting and balloon artists.

We are so thankful to all the staff and volunteers at Everybody Health & Leisure for organising and hosting such a fabulous event for our community

Sunday Village Fair

To round off a fantastic weekend, the annual village fair at the Vic Club was another huge success. It was great to see so many people enjoying the variety of stalls, the classic cars, fun fair, dog show, and more. It is an event that truly brings the community together.

Our grateful thanks to the Vic Club and Holmes Chapel Partnership for organising this fantastic event.

Three Days, Three Events, One Community

The Summer Celebration offered something for everyone. From live music to family attractions and a classic village fair, it was a proud showcase of Holmes Chapel at its best. Thank you to all residents, volunteers, performers, businesses and organisers for making the weekend such a resounding success. What a brilliant weekend! Thank you Holmes Chapel for supporting these fantastic events!
