Community Kindness

A local resident (and artist) has very kindly donated an iPad for the community.

After much thought about how best to use this, it has been donated to The Cedars care home, allowing residents of the care home to keep in touch with loved ones during this very difficult ongoing lockdown period.

We are very grateful to Andrew at Goggleboxtech, in Holmes Chapel, who has given his time to set up the iPad to make it easy for the staff and residents to use.

This kind donation could provide many precious moments for these older residents of our community.

Pictured below is the iPad donor, and Councillor Diane Tams presenting the device to the Cedars care home on her behalf.

Thank you to all concerned.
