Further Road Closures in Holmes Chapel

In addition to the ongoing closure of Macclesfield Road, there is a further closure happening in the centre of the Village this week.

Some emergency works are being carried out by Duttons Contractors, starting this evening (Monday 2 August) for SP Energy Networks.

See information from Duttons: This is to repair a faulty underground electric cable on the roundabouts near the George and Dragon public house, for safety reasons we will have to setup some temporary traffic lights and close the road past the Church (The Square). We are expecting the works to take until the end of this week to complete, but we will be pushing to complete sooner, if we can.
