Holmes Chapel Library Re-Opening

Holmes Chapel Library will be re-opening to the public at 10am on Monday 20th July. To enable our safe reopening for the public and staff alike, there will be some changes to our normal opening hours and services. Our opening hours will be as follows when we reopen:-

Mon: 10am-4.30pm

Tues: 10am-4.30pm

Wed: 10am-4.30pm

Thurs: closed

Fri: 10am-4.30pm

Sat: 10am-1pm

There will be a few other changes for now:

Numbers of people allowed in the building will be limited to allow for safe social distancing

Computers and Council Customer Service enquiries (for things like Blue Badge and Bus Pass applications) must be booked in advance.


Some services will be unavailable to begin with including newspapers, reservations, events and meeting room bookings


Customers will be able to:

Return, renew and borrow books and DVDs

All items currently on loan to customers have been renewed until 1st September 2020.
