Holmes Chapel Precinct Car Park Works

Holmes Chapel Parish Council greatly welcomes planned works to improve the condition and safety of the car park at Holmes Chapel Precinct, by resurfacing the entrance junction and car park of the precinct.

The works are scheduled to take place between 6pm and midnight on Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th August, with all visitors using the Precinct during these times asked to make alternative parking arrangements.

The work will focus on improving the condition of the road surface, with car park relining scheduled for Monday 24 August.

The Parish Council has been raising concerns about the condition and overall status of the car park for some time. A few months ago, representatives of the Parish Council met with the Precinct's management company to discuss the concerns being raised about the car park and the need for improvements. The Parish Council is therefore delighted to see works now being undertaken.

The management company has advised that the works are considered necessary to provide a safe road surface for all users.

While the Parish Council recognises that the works may cause some temporary inconvenience to residents, businesses and visitors, it is important work that we hope will make a significant difference everyone using the Precinct.
