New Councillor

We are delighted to welcome Rich Wilcock as a member of the Parish Council.

Cllr Wilcock was co-opted onto the Parish Council during our Council meeting held on 1st July. Cllr Wilcock says:

'I’m a relative newcomer to the village but not Cheshire, as I’ve lived in the county for 13 years after moving from my home town of Melton Mowbray. I’ve grown to love the village and strongly feel the Parish council is a great way to help change and improve the village for better.

I volunteer at Just Drop In in Macclesfield that promotes, councils and help children. I am a strong advocate for ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive and support multiple organisations in this regard and I will always try to help the youth in Holmes Chapel.

I work in medical communications, a career that enables me to use my project management skills, not to mention developing multiple working relationships and strategic planning. All skills I hope to bring to the council.'

We look forward to working with Cllr Wilcock.
