Youth councillor honoured

The Parish Council were delighted to honour the commitment to the Youth Council of Charlie Fu.

Charlie was a member from January 2023 to July 2026. He played a key role in establishing the Youth Council Radio show for Dane Sound Radio. He also spent a lot of time and hard work contributing to proposals which resulted in the new youth club and outdoor gym equipment at the Middlewich Road Play Area.

Charlie was a fantastic member of the Youth Council brimming with great ideas! We will greatly miss him, but wish him well as he begins studying for his A-levels.

Charlie was presented with a trophy and thank you letter by The Chair of the Parish Council, Cllr Diane Tams, along with Cllr Mike Street, who supports the youth council.

We wish Charlie every success for the future and are grateful for the time he spent as a youth councillor.

If you know a young person who either lives in the village, attends one of the local schools or youth organisations and is in years 6-13, please tell them about our Youth Council.
