Inspired by the many volunteers who regularly pick up litter in Holmes Chapel, local childminder Pat Adams has run a littering awareness poster project with the children she cares for - not only to educate them, but to help prevent littering generally - and particularly in our play parks.
The Parish Council was delighted to accept the posters, and has displayed them at the local Middlewich Road play area, with some more due to be put up at the Elm Drive Play Area.
Littering is a rising problem across our Parish - it's great to see initiatives like these to educate youngsters not to drop litter.
As ever - we are very grateful for the work of the Village Volunteers, including their junior team, who regularly pick up litter across the village.
