Updated: Nov 4, 2021

The village has been decorated with poppies in honour of Remembrance Sunday, which this year takes place on Sunday 14th November 2021.

We are pleased that the Parade can take place this year, and the Parish Council has arranged a road closure for the event. Therefore, please be aware that there will be some disruption on the roads on that Sunday morning. The Parade will march off at around 9.30am and those participating in the parade need to congregate in the Health Centre car park by 9.15am. The Parade will be followed by a service at St Luke’s. The Wreath laying ceremony at the War Memorial will take place following a two minute silence at 11am.

**IMPORTANT - please do not attend the commemorations if you are displaying any symptoms of Coronavirus or have been told to self-isolate.**

"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning

We will remember them"
