United Utilities reservoir safety campaign - competition for young people

United Utilities are running a competition as part of their reservoir safety summer campaign.

"This year, due to Covid-19, our campaign is running virtually. The campaign includes a competition for young people to create a vlog or poster (or both) on the dangers of swimming in a reservoir, with two winners being awarded a £100 Amazon voucher.

The aim of the competition is to raise awareness of the potentially life-saving message about not swimming in reservoirs with young people, who are statistically more likely to enter the water.

We would be really grateful if you could share this information with your residents as we would like as many young people as possible to learn more about this potentially life-saving message.

For more information about the dangers of swimming in reservoirs, we have devised a fun and engaging education pack for young people which can be viewed here: https://www.unitedutilities.com/about-us/recreation-sites/reservoir-safety/"

Deadline for entries is midnight on Friday 28th August 2020
